Sanjay and team 516 did a great job last week with Dex. But we’re going to focus on the lower class citizens of the NL division.
This week will focus on Fazeel Haque, the forgotten member of the Haque family. Fazeel already has a SABL championship and is looking to add a SASL title to his trophy collection. Fazeel joined SASL full time with the inception of Breaking Bats, prior to that he was seen playing here and there with the Softballers.
In 2016 he batted 0.383 with an OPS of 1.059, he ended the season with a rank of 1. In 2017 he broke out with an avg 0.570 and OPS 1.61 and his rank jumped to a 4. Currently, in 2018 he has an avg .500 and an OPS of 1.6. Last weekend he went 4-7 with 2 home runs, 4 runs and 6 RBIs against the Ones. His first home run of the season came in the bottom of 7th with 2 on 1 out down by 2 for a walk-off homer. Fazeel is slowly turning into one of the better clutch hitters in the NL. Keep an eye on him in the upcoming weeks.
