The Buzz : Week 3
- When season started, if we told you Mighty Ducks (4-0) and Purple Reign (5-1) would be sitting on top of their respective divisions, you would be laughing at us. How times have changed.
- What’s up with beers and SASL? Didn’t Anwar-gate suspension last year make it clear? NO alcohol in any parks or games! Our first captain suspension will be adhered to this Sunday game 1. HOORAY BEER?! No.
- TROOPERS last team with no wins. The count down begins for their first wins. Dealing with attendance issues or talent issues? Losing in the Battle Of Guyana against Scooby Scorers must’ve tripled the agony of being winless.
- Masks? Jerseys?! Are we really enforcing this? Yes. Umps have been told to not let pitchers pitch without masks. Also, pitchers tend to have those faces no one wants to see anyway. No team jersey/SASL shirt/ matching color? 1 run per player missing uniform for the other team!
- When’s the next Let’s Talk Hash coming?! Time to stir the pot!!! Other personalities that need their own shows: Getting Big with Manju, My name is SHAIKH with Zeeshan, Disrespect 101 with Arlo, Develop IQ by Charley.
- Playoff format this year allows only 4 teams in each division to go thru (plus a SNL wild card game for 4v5). Every game is very important and each team plays each other twice. Games count as much now as they will in July!!
- Wednesday May 9th, 3 pm is roster deadline. Will your team make the game changing Free Agent signing? Or will it be more Ammad to Mets depth signings?
- The Ones: 4 loss in a row after season opening sweep. Talk about peaking WAY too early.
- STATS, where they heck are they?! Almost a month into the season. Well, does your captain know how to take proper directions or stats?! Hmm…. show many games have been decided by one run?! Double check the other teams books!
