Wahid Omarzai of the HitSquad was named the 2017 South Asian Softball League Pitcher of the Year
Wahid led the HitSquad to the #4 record this year.
Finishing with a 14-5 record with only 21 walks in 134 innings pitched. He led the league in strike outs striking out 36 batters.
Wahid is a 4 time Pitcher of the Year winner in addition to being a 5 time SASL Champion.
He made waves earlier in the season when he spoke about his ability to throw 10 pitches.
Notoriously private, Wahid was featured in the Hot Seat for the first time where he talked about his preparation, what he thought of the league and his infamous line about throwing 10 pitches.
