Power Rankings after Week 6
Semi-pro 8-2
Looks like the team to beat. I guess Anwar pulled some last minute strings before leaving office to fit the cap. This team is solid from top to bottom and are getting some big seasons from unlikely stars. Saeed Anwar has really turned it up a notch this year. Btw, looks like post commissionership has really served Anwar well. Has anyone seen what Anwar looks like??
Young Guns 7-3
What do you get when you bring in a team of young college players? You get the Young Guns who are solid at every position. Chris Stefl is an absolute beast who is one of the top players in the division. Anthony Dindyal is playing like a young Atif Tatari – hustling out every at bat. This team has all of the makings of something special. Wahid put together a great team that is young, athletic and hungry. Watch out SASL
Dynasty 6-3-1
Preseason you would have put this team at the bottom but they are surprising everyone sitting in 3rd place. Credit to coach Saj who is always recruiting and taking bases from other teams to putting together a team that is sitting in third place at this stage of the season. This team was left for dead in the off season.
Scorers 7-5
This top heavy team relies on their MVPs to remain competitive. Can they maintain this spot is up to their attendance. They are the quintessential team that is built for the playoffs. Yoba, Denen etc..will be huge going forward.
Tigers 6-6
Just like scorers, when the tigers are missing there MVP’s most of their team prob qualifies for division 3. Rishi is an unsung hero with his lefty bat, but when Shane has been a big bat for this team to solidify the middle of the lineup when Dan takes his inevitable vacations.
No Limit 5-5
Mike and his endless Ringers only got them to a .500 record. At least post season is likely. This team has some players and are starting to put this together. They are riding under the radar but could surprise a few teams and move ahead of them.
Heavy hitters 5-5
Does this team know they had an 18 man roster limit? Instead they went with a bunch of injury prone aged vets and can’t even field a team most weeks. It was a lot of chatter on ratings and players for this result. No way that this team was constructed to be a .500 team. This team and this season seems like a changing of the guard.
Ducks 5-7
This team of 5s got them 5 wins…right on track – quack quack! They have a lot of depth but no one is really distinguishing them outside of Naeem.
Hit squad 4-6
Was losing Solyman the end of Hit Squad? Seems like he over played his end and ended up as another d3 player on the Tigers. This team doesn’t have the same feel as years past. Inconsistent attendance, more additions and subtractions than a first grade math class. At least they had one good ringer who showed up for one week and hasn’t been heard from since.
Dothrakis 4-5-1
Idk whats going on here. 2 wins by forfeit. They seem to have the same team as last season for the most part but they lose to everyone. This is the same team that was just in the finals! Dynasty gutted their entire roster and is still competitive and Sunny and Hash bring back same team and are behind the who knows who’s showing up HitSquad.
Troopers 0-10
