A surprise new addition can shake things up at the top!

SASL Softball is 2 weeks away.

Let’s prognosticate, shall we?

Pre-Season 2018 Power Rankings

National League

1. Breaking Bats

This team was in the quarterfinals last year. However with the league splitting, this team starts at the top of the National League with such talented stars such as league MVP Kunal, all stars Sajeel and Zeeshan. However, beware of their attendance with a few crossover players.

2. Hit Squad

HS made it to the Semifinals last year before wilting to the eventual champions Savages. Then they lost their best player John Demartino. However, a team that has veterans such as Ammad, Solyman, captain Ghulam, pitcher extraordinaire Wahid and All Star Hakim, you can bet they will be near the top.

3. Dynasty

One of the original and longest lastinng franchises in SASL comes in 3rd in our preseason rankings. They went to the Finals in SASL Fall Ball, but have lost some major pieces from that team. But Sajid and Guarav are shrewd and we expect a quick rebuild.

4. The Ones

The buzz for this team is real. Naeem and Sijo is bringing back The Ones which folded a few seasons ago. They have done some great recruiting and we won’t be shocked if they finish 1st when it’s all said and done.

5. NWO

Snuck into playoffs last year and then surprised everyone by winning the SNL game. However, they lost Masoom and RP over the offseason. Clear downgrade in that batting order. Did Asim and Ayaz add enough to replenish this up and coming franchise?

6. Bengals

They are baackkk! Led by new leadership in SASL veterans Salman and Faisal, this team was on the verge of something special until the divisions were merged. But starting over again, can they recapture some of that old magic?

7. Purple Reign

Coolest name in the SASL?

We have no choice but to start them low in the Power Rankings. Lots of new faces, rookie team, rookie players.

Best of luck fellas. Go shock the world!

8. Strike Force

SASL Fall Ball was not kind to them and the National League won’t be kind to a team still finding its footing. There is no captain that takes his job more seriously than Arshad. Can his players follow him and step up and contribute to a winning season? Time will tell, but we aren’t betting on it. In SASL, talent speaks loud. And Strike Force maybe short on talent.
