Power Rankings: After Week 4

National Week 11 Power Rankings
1. DYNASTY (8-0) ↔️

After Dothrakis and North lost, Dynasty is the last team to remain unbeaten and thus remain in the top spot of our PR. Their next 4 opponents are the next 4 teams on our Rankings, so now the real test begins. They are getting career years out of a few players, but it will be interesting to see if that continues.

2. DOTHRAKIS (7-1) ↔️

They tasted their first loss in their rookie campaign. They still played to their strengths with some good defense and timely hitting against Troopers. They need to continue to rack up wins now as their end of season schedule is the toughest in the league. Their offense still has room to grow with Pavy, Pervez, etc. still finding their groove.

3. THE NORTH (7-1) ↔️

The took their first loss this season this past Sunday. The positive? Their defense once again took a step forward and held Hit Squad to 4 runs in game 2. The trio of Charley-Nick-Steve were held without their usual offense this past Sunday but we expect them to reverse that in short order. They will need more offense from the bottom of the lineup to stay elite.

4. HIT SQUAD (5-3) ⬆️ 2 spots

Hit Squad keeps climbing the rankings after a season opening sweep that dropped them to a season worst 9th in the rankings. They rode Yaqub and Ramy’s offense to a split against North. The talent and personality is there. The question will become how to divide up playing time between 15 guys that can all start.

5. MONSTARS  (5-3) ⬇️ 1 spot

Two straight weeks of walk off losses. Both games they led by comfortable margins until the late innings. They need to be able to press on the gas early and don’t give other team any hope. Is it time for Salman and co. to shorten that lineup? They have two easy wins on tap this Sunday against Backdoor Sliders to put them back on track.

6. TROOPERS (4-4) ⬆️ 1 spot

They seem to play everyone tough! They had a huge comeback win against Dothrakis with new addition Justus playing a huge role. However, once again for the 3rd week in a row, they flamed out in game 2. They need more consistency to jump into the elite conversation. This week they face The Ones which may have HUGE seeding implications later in the year for them to avoid SNL.

7. THE ONES (4-4) ⬇️ 2 spots

Our biggest faller this week are The Ones. No team is more Jekyll and Hyde than The Ones. They put up 30 runs on Sunday, only to get swept. Their defense has been as bad as the worst teams in the league, but their offense keeps them in games. This team is destined for SNL if they continue to perform lower than expectations.

8. BLACK MAMBAS (3-5) ↔️

Great comeback win for Mambas this past Sunday in Game 2 after a close loss in Game 1. Dan still hasn’t been the power hitting Capt. America thru 2 weeks, so the offense has more room to improve. Adding Jonathan to shore up the outfield defense was a brilliant move. This week they have a tough challenge in Dothrakis, which should be a measuring stick of where this team really stands.

9. TSFE (3-5) ↔️

There was a huge temptation to move them up the Power Rankings after they swept The Ones. But this team has disappointed before, so we decided we need to see more. They are in the perfect position to move up next week after facing DadBods. Maybe the preseason expectations put  a burden on this group and they perform better in the underdog role?

10. SHOOTER MCGAVINS (2-6) ↔️

A round of applause for getting off the 0 win shneid. The defense looked good, but they still left many base runners on the bases against DadBods. Not hitting with men on scoring positions have been their Achilles Heel so far and something they need to improve on if they want to move up the Rankings. They face The North this week and the familiarity of many of the players should make for some good games.

11. DADBODS (0-8) ↔️

They held Shooter McGavins to under double digit runs scored on average this past Sunday. But their league worst offense could not muster up enough runs to steal one game. The lineup is full of weak spots right now. In order to sneak into the playoffs their aim has to be 5 wins somehow or someway.

12. BACKDOOR SLIDERS (0-8) ↔️

Same old Backdoor Sliders. Offense did well in game 1, but defense really let them down. And game 2, they just didn’t even put up much of a fight. Their week 8 matchup against DadBods will be much watch TV. Rishi Rampal, however, is having a breakout season thus far.
