American League Power Rankings

1. Ducks

Best team all season. Sid and Saad have done a tremendous job putting together a roster that hasn’t suffered a defeat. Troopers were no match and now there’s only 2 weeks left to complete the perfect season. Everyone is just waiting for the Savages make up series and a possible SASL Finals preview. Outlaws and Scorers with that makeup vs Savages will not make it easy. Biggest run differential in the league says this team is legit.

2. Savages

2 seed is secure as they’ve won 9 of their last 10 games. Nobody expects anything less then a championship once again from a improved Savages roster in comparison to last years championship season. However, a 1-5 record vs the 2 of the contenders in Ducks and 516 could bring a upset if Savages are caught sleeping. Mets and Troopers to finish the season with not much to gain or lose. That Ducks makeup game is the one to watch.

3. Outlaws

Saiful, Greg and the rest of the Outlaws surprised the league by sweeping Empire and almost taking away their hope of a wild card. Attendance has been an issue but if they have their best like they did this past Sunday they’re a tough matchup for anyone. They’ve put themselves in a situation to escape the SNL seeding but have to beat Ducks and 516 the final 2 weeks of the season. Huge games coming up for them. Destiny lies in their hands.

4. Mets

Veteran roster with a couple of young bodies took some time to find chemistry but are finding themselves after a couple of key victories against 516. Troopers forfeit this past week. Will the 2 week layoff help this team or hurt them? 3rd seed at the moment with matchups against the 2 finalist of the 2017 season in Savages and Empire to close out the season. Games will have playoff atmosphere.

5. 516

At 12-10 this team has underperformed when looking at the likes of Liriano, Anthony, Jason, Wahid and that man Denen on this roster. They got off to a flying start but have lost 8 of their last 12 games to put themselves in this position. Makeup sweep vs Troopers on Wednesday night with Troopers again on Sunday. Then the Outlaws final week of the season which could decide who has to play on a Saturday night and who directly advances to the semifinals the following week.

6. Empire

Tough season that looks to be coming to a finish after losing 2 close games against the Outlaws. While others are looking at that elusive 3 seed there’s still actually a decent chance for Empire to get into the wildcard. Basically Empire need to win out and Outlaws/Mets to lose 3 of their final 4 and 516 to drop 2 of their final 4. Considering Empire play Mets and 516 take on Outlaws the final week of the season could make this very possible. Oh and let’s also not forget, Empire have the tiebreaker on both Outlaws and 516 with Mets to be determined.

7. Scorers

Who knows what went wrong this year with this team. They have the biggest bat, veteran pitching and protection all around whether it’s on offense or defense. They could play the biggest spoiler with matchups against some of the teams wandering where their seeding will be. It started this past week as they split with 516. They can officially eliminate Empire from the wildcard this week and then Ducks to possibly stop their undefeated season final week. Looking to leave a mark on the American league to be prepared for next year.

8. Troopers

The softball season never ends with these guys. They forfeit on Sunday because of injuries to multiple players but were still able to leave their other obligations to play on Wednesday night and play 516 tough in one of the games. Like the Scorers this team can also play spoiler and hurt any chances of 516 escaping the wildcard by defeating them this Sunday. Also makes for a revenge game for the defeat from Wednesday night.
